Intercity Hotel
IntercityHotel is a mid-to-high-end business hotel brand under Huazhu Group, originating from the German Rail Hotel founded by Ahim Maruschik, an employee of Deutsche Bahn in 1987. After being acquired by Deutsche Hospitality in 1989, the brand took shape. With a core strategy of "transport hubs + landmark locations," it operates across Europe, the Middle East, and China, having expanded to over 40 cities in China, including Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu, by 2024.
IntercityHotel fully preserves the minimalist aesthetic genes of German Bauhaus, showcasing the "less is more" design philosophy through industrial elements such as glass curtain walls and exposed pipelines. The guest rooms feature modular designs and are equipped with smart check-in terminals and robot delivery services. The public spaces are divided into three functional modules:
```Flexible Meeting Zone: Supports rapid switching between 16-200 person conference scenarios```
Craft Brewery Restaurant: Offering German-style casual meals and localized dining combinations
24-Hour Tech Gym: Equipped with Smart Fitness Equipment and VR Training Systems
